Refreshing Change
A Fresh New Look and Some Changes
Welcome to the newly reimagined Paul Iddon Story Teller website! 🎉
After much thought and planning, I’ve given my site a fresh lick of paint, aligning it more closely with the stories I love to tell. With a theme inspired by my main genre—Dark Fantasy / Supernatural Thriller—the website now immerses you in the atmospheric worlds of mystery, magic, and danger that define my writing. From the darkly evocative headers to the subtle supernatural motifs, every corner of this site reflects the spirit of the stories I create.
As I continue to focus on tales of haunted heroes, shadowy creatures, and ancient legacies, I hope this new design enhances your experience and provides a fitting gateway to the worlds waiting within my books.
Some Sad News
With this refresh comes a moment of bittersweet reflection, as I’ve decided to retire the Calvin The Carrot series.
While I’ve loved bringing Calvin’s quirky adventures to life, it no longer fits with my target audience or the themes of my main genre. More importantly, I want to ensure that my site remains a safe and appropriate space for my readers. Retiring Calvin’s stories helps prevent any potential confusion or the risk of children stumbling upon content meant for a mature audience.
To those who’ve supported and enjoyed Calvin’s whimsical world, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love for this carrot with character has meant so much, and Calvin’s legacy will always have a special place in my writing journey.
Dakota’s Diary: Taking a Hiatus
I also want to share that Dakota’s Diary will be taking a temporary hiatus. While this heartfelt, serialised story has resonated with many readers, I’ve decided to pause updates as I focus on my dark fantasy projects. This isn’t goodbye—it’s just a moment to regroup and explore how Dakota’s journey might evolve in the future.
I truly appreciate everyone who has followed Dakota’s raw and emotional journey. Your support and connection to her story have been incredible, and I promise to keep you updated on her return.
What’s Next?
As we step into this exciting new chapter, I’m thrilled to invite you deeper into my world of storytelling. Dive into my latest projects, explore the archives, or connect with me if you have questions, ideas, or just want to chat about the world of dark fantasy and beyond.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to the stories yet to be told!
Until next time,
Paul Iddon
